August 26 to 28 in Auburn Indiana

Schedule of Events

Classic Bicycles Auburn is an event organized independently from the museum to promote vintage bicycles.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum .

Fun fact – the Duesenberg brothers made bicycles before cars, and Fred Duesenberg was a championship bicycle racer!

A Feast of Mechanical Excellence

While surrounded by the glorious automobiles and bicycles, draw inspiration through the stories of pursuing engineering excellence.  The quest for innovative materials and design occurred simultaneously in both the automotive and bicycle industries.

Riding

The area surrounding the museum is beautiful with meandering country roads and lovely small towns.  There is  great gravel and modestly rolling hills.   Three Rivers Velo Sport, the area’s leading cycling club, will lead Saturday morning rides leaving from the museum.  Participation will require joining the club and paying a  modest $20 fee for 2022 membership.

An Adventure Through Time

As you walk into the museum and see the exhibits and hear the presentations, you’ll experience an amazing journey through time.  Like the bikes, the automotive story is intertwined with the history of America. The great  automobiles are displayed in the actual factory dealer showroom for the Auburn Cord Duesenberg companies.
